Email Tip: No Reply Necessary

I hate wasting time with email. That’s why I use a little phrase at the end of those messages that don’t need an answer.
-------------NO REPLY NECESSARY--------------------
It’s very simple and really works. I find it’s actually better if placed before your signature.
If you are worried about coming across as too abrupt, why not try it like this:
-------------REDUCE UNNECESSARY EMAILS: No Reply Required-------------
Try it. It works.

I’m desperate to try this, but I fear it would damage relations with my colleagues, friends and random acquaintences.
People need the human touch ever more in this computer aided world. Colleagues, friends and acquaintances often become clients and partners - if they like you! Blocking their emails (however trivial) [as much as I’m desperate to] blocks the relationship I fear.
I’m posting a full response to this in the form of the next blog post.
Will post the link in a bit.
