If you’re in Stockholm tonight watch out if you are anywhere near Norrmalmstorg and Östermalmstorg. A bunch of vampires are staging a demonstration.
No it’s not Halloween already; it’s viral marketing time in Stockholm.
TV tie-in
Dagens Media reports that the march is being organized to promote the launch of American show True Blood on Canal Plus next week. Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård is in one of the roles.
A press release has been doing the rounds today claiming the march has been organised by the so-called Swedish Association of Vampires [Vampyrernas riksförbund], but it’s really Canal Plus behind the wheeze (and very silly website). You have to speak Swedish to appreciate it, though, alas.
True Blood airs on 22 October throughout Sweden at 22:00 on Canal Plus.
