Schteve McClaren’s Ridiculous Dutch Story Rolls Again

What is it with the former England manager, Steven McClaren? After the last video surfaced with him speaking with what can only be regarded as a ludicrous joke Dutch-accent just weeks after moving to Holland, he has done it again as this YouTube clip demonstrates.

In a desperate attempt to save the man’s global reputation I’m making a personal plea:

Dear Schteve,
This is very bad karma. You’re not only being ridiculed for your lack of football acumen; you’ve become a laughing stock in the world of football because of your linguistic shenanigans.

The story that is being told about you is a man on the verge of lunacy. A man whose reputation suffered at the hands of English football, that’s for sure, but whose making another massive cock-up in Holland by forgetting to speak English like you used to.

If it was April 1 I would assume this is your wacky PR team trying to run a viral marketing campaign to show what a wacky guy you are. But it’s not. It’s you. Doing it again for Dutch TV.

In the hope that this blog post is supremely SEO-optimised and that you come across it: please stop now Steve. I can’t take laughing anymore. Besides, I don’t like seeing anyone suffer.
